Getting Through The Long Hard Winter
It must be awesome to be a kid in the northern hemisphere in winter. From the end of October it's nothing but comfort food, bonfires and fireworks - a brilliant way to get through winter. You just hopscotch your way from Halloween to Guy Fawkes to Christmas to New Year's Eve, with fireworks at any time in between.
I can't wait for our annual government sanctioned pyrotechnic displays in Brisbane - the Ekka ('Kids! Who's brought you this year's fireworks?' 'Daaaaaiwy Faaaaaaarmers!!!') and Beer FM's Bogan Asplosion (or whatever the heck it's called) along the river. Yay.

My Moleskine Weighs A Ton
Because I'm all artsy and stuff I sometimes carry around a delightfully overpriced Moleskine, into which I scrawl meaningful artworks such as these:
Son of Popeye, father of Homer.
I am a character actor playing a gruff yet amiable newspaper editor.
...What's my line again?

Now here's some drawings from about 3 years ago when I was working in a warehouse:
