Miss Atomic Bomb
I did this poster some time ago for a new musical comedy from Adam Long (The Reduced Shakespeare Company). Great to see it's now in use!
Here's the official blurb from missatomicbomb.com:
Set in Las Vegas in 1952, and based on true events, Miss Atomic Bomb is the story of a Utah farm girl who turns her life around by travelling to Vegas and entering the Miss Atomic Bomb beauty contest. It was a time of optimism and euphoria, and every mushroom cloud that rose over the Nevada desert was reassurance that atomic power was the key to “a big bright beautiful tomorrow.”
A friend who attended a read-through described it as 'superb', which makes me even happier to be involved!
