While I was on leave after GG's birth, we watched The Iron Giant for the first time with MM (4 years and 3 months). I tried my hardest not to cry during the film. (Failed.)
A project I'm involved in has made it onto the web - it's 'City Of Fire', from Robert Chandler and Hibbert Ralph Film. Hopefully I'll have more to post from this as it develops!
The Super Art Shambles group blog experiment ground to a halt almost a year ago, so I thought I'd make it live up to its name and use it as a graveyard for all those unfinished sketches I have lying around.
I gave 2 weeks notice on Thursday, and having accrued about 2 weeks leave meant that I resigned on Thursday, left on Friday - must be the shortest notice period I've ever worked.
I'm still reeling from the sudden departure; there's no denying Krome has haditsissues, but they were willing to give me a chance back in 2007, 6 months after I came back to Australia from 3 years overseas.
So thanks to everyone at Krome - for their repartee, buffoonery, helpfulness and generosity through often trying circumstances. You will be missed.
I'm sure being snowbound can be terribly frustrating, but it's been great to hear of the fun my friends in the UK have been having in all that snow... I do miss a proper winter.
